FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen | Hungary
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour returns to Debrecen on August 29-30, right after the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Debrecen stop on August 27-28. It also follows three days of the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League 2026 - U21 Europe-2 leg, making for seven days of 3x3 basketball action in the heart of the city.
The 2026 edition marks the 11th time Debrecen has hosted a FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop, further cementing the Hungarian city as one of the circuit's longest-standing destinations. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour first came to Debrecen in 2016, with Novi Sad Al Wahda (UAE) claiming the inaugural title. Since then, the list of champions has featured some of the biggest names in 3x3 basketball, including Liman (SRB), Ub (SRB), Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) and Antwerp (BEL).
In 2025, Vienna (AUT) added their name to that list, defeating Skyliners (GER) 22-20 in a thrilling final to claim the title.
The event takes place at Kossuth Square, one of Debrecen's most recognizable locations and home to the iconic Great Reformed Church. Debrecen is Hungary's second-largest city and the largest city outside Budapest, with more than 200,000 inhabitants, while also serving as an important cultural, educational and economic center in eastern Hungary.
Debrecen blends heritage with a vibrant modern city life, including a large international university community and a strong sporting culture. Now, with the Women's Series and World Tour taking over Kossuth Square, Debrecen once again becomes a focal point for 3x3 basketball.
