SuperLeagues 2026 to allocate Challenger and World Tour spots across global pathway
MIES (Switzerland) - Two confirmed SuperLeagues will provide teams with direct qualification routes to both FIBA 3x3 Challengers and the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
Structured as multi-stop competitions (several Stops plus a Final), each SuperLeague will distribute Challenger and World Tour spots through a performance-based system across the season.
A third SuperLeague may be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Dual SuperLeagues confirmed for 2026
The two confirmed SuperLeagues are:
3x3.EXE Super Premier 2025-2026
Belt and Road China Dragon 3x3 Basketball International Invitational Tournaments 2026
Each league will feature two qualifying Stops followed by a Final, with qualification incentives allocated at multiple stages of competition.
3x3.EXE Super Premier 2025-2026
Stop 1 - Sendai
Winner qualifies to the Shibuya Challenger.
Stop 2 - Bangkok
Winner qualifies to the Manila Challenger.
Following both Stops, the top two teams in the overall standings will each qualify to the World Tour Chengdu.
Final - Singapore
Final champion and runner-up will each qualify to the World Tour Zadar.

Stop 1
Winner qualifies to the Xi’an Challenger.
Stop 2
Winner qualifies to the Sukhbaatar Challenger.
Following both Stops, the top two teams in the overall standings will each qualify to the World Tour Shanghai.
Final
Final champion and runner-up will each qualify to the World Tour Ulaanbaatar.
Total qualification impact
From each SuperLeague:
2 Challenger spots (via Stop winners)
4 World Tour spots (2 via standings + 2 via Final)
In addition, once all SuperLeagues conclude, FIBA will evaluate competitiveness across leagues and award additional qualification slots to the two most competitive SuperLeagues.
Competitiveness is determined by the mean ranking points (as of 2026 January 1) of the top 24 players participating in each tournament.

Strategic role within the Pro Circuit
SuperLeagues are designed as structured off-season competitions that strengthen the professional ecosystem of 3x3 basketball.
Alex Sanchez, FIBA 3x3 Managing Director, explained:
"SuperLeagues have been envisioned by FIBA as an off-season competition with various goals: to provide upcoming teams an opportunity to qualify to early Pro Events and improve team ranking; to offer teams an opportunity to identify new players; to provide teams with off-season activity; and to allow promoters to have an end-to-end owned competition linked to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour."
By combining competitive continuity with clear qualification incentives, SuperLeagues play a key role in supporting team development and expanding access to top-tier events.
